The Neighborhood is a 1982 television movie starring Howard Rollins and Sheryl Lee Ralph,. Storyline: A neighborhood in Brooklyn reacts to the first black families moving into the community. Synopsis: Residents of a blue-collar neighborhood in the New York borough of Queens become alarmed when several black families move in to change the ethnic make-up.
