Lion's Deadliest MEGA EPISODE | No Mercy in the Fight to Survive | Wildlife Documentary follows the lion, the Cape buffalo, the great white shark and the jaguar through four hours of survival stories, from the Linyanti floodplains of Botswana and the Ngorongoro Crater to Seal Island in False Bay, the roof of the Himalaya, the Pantanal wetland and Brazil's Atlantic forest. Out here no hunter is spared and no prey is given a second chance. Every creature runs first, and only when every path of escape has closed does the weak become the beast. 0:00 The Ladder of Fear 2:55 Honey Badger vs Lions 8:43 Porcupines vs Leopard 15:04 Seal Island: Fur Seals vs Great White Shark 18:21 Great White Ambush at Dawn 21:32 Orcas vs Great White Shark 30:32 Ngorongoro: Lions vs Buffalo 36:17 Hyena Clans of the Crater Floor 38:51 Black Maned Lions Fight on the Rim 43:58 Ethiopian Wolf and the Gelada Troop 51:17 Everest: Musk Deer Duel 56:31 Himalayan Tahr on the Cliffs 58:56 Blue Sheep vs Snow Leopard 1:03:31 Tibetan Plateau: Pika and Red Fox 1:08:37 Wild Yak vs Himalayan Wolves 1:13:24 Snow Leopard and Wolf: Two Kings 1:17:54 Wolves Take the Snow Leopard's Meal 1:20:43 Lions vs Giraffe 1:26:35 Hyenas vs Buffalo Calves 1:31:10 Buffalo Herd vs Lion Cubs 1:33:31 Lion Males vs the Old Bull 1:37:47 Welcome to the Pantanal 1:43:58 Jaguar vs Caiman 1:47:55 Giant Otters vs Jaguar 1:53:24 Yellow Anaconda vs Capybara 2:03:11 Caiman Hatchlings and the Comeback 2:10:19 The Roar: Fear Is Information 2:13:06 Warthog vs Leopard at the Burrow 2:16:25 Impala vs Leopard and Wild Dog 2:23:11 Hyena vs Wildebeest Calf 2:28:01 Lioness Ambush at the River 2:35:34 Hyena Whoops vs Leopard 2:40:14 Hippos and Crocodiles of the Mara 2:43:54 The Mara River Crossing 2:50:47 Wild Dogs Vote by Sneezing 2:56:49 Gemsbok vs Lions 3:05:39 Namib: The Brown Hyena 3:10:07 Desert Lions vs Oryx 3:14:30 Brazil's Atlantic Forest 3:19:28 Jaguar of the Forest Floor 3:24:37 Jaguar vs Capybara 3:30:24 Ocelot vs Golden Lion Tamarin 3:35:10 Jararaca Pit Viper 3:43:57 The Harpy Eagle 3:48:53 Harpy Eagle vs Sloth 3:54:38 Golden Lion Tamarin Comeback Through cinematic footage and educational storytelling, this documentary climbs the ladder of fear rung by rung: run, hide, threaten, fight. A honey badger mother turns on a pride of young lions, a pair of porcupines leave a leopard limping from a single quill, and at Seal Island only half of the great white shark's dawn ambushes on Cape fur seals succeed, which is why the pups that survive their first winter learn to avoid the first hour after sunrise. In the Ngorongoro Crater, where some 450 spotted hyenas outnumber 60 lions seven to one, a pride loses a buffalo bull to the marsh, and on the frozen crater rim two black maned males fight for a throne that has only one seat, the way a 2002 study in Science showed that colder nights grow darker manes. What follows is the part most wildlife films never show. Two orcas named Port and Starboard drive great white sharks out of Gansbaai and Mossel Bay, a snow leopard gives up its meal to a pack of Himalayan wolves in Spiti Valley, a buffalo herd tramples a pride's hidden cubs and the lion males answer by pulling down the old bull, and in the Pantanal a jaguar seizes a caiman by the nape while a family of giant otters barks her off their river. Lions win only one hunt in four, and that number is the whole story. In the fight to survive, no one is shown mercy, and no one is given it. Epic Moments in This Documentary: A honey badger mother charging a pride of young lions on the Linyanti floodplain A porcupine driving a single quill into a leopard's leg at twilight A great white shark launching clear of the water at Seal Island in the first hour after dawn Two orcas, Port and Starboard, taking the liver from a 16 foot great white shark Two black maned lions colliding on the 7,500 foot rim of the Ngorongoro Crater A snow leopard backing off its meal as five Himalayan wolves close in A jaguar locking its jaws onto a caiman's nape in the Pantanal A pride of lion males pulling down a buffalo bull of more than 1,400 pounds
