Ogre - A vicious Ogre rules over a town that has been stuck in time since the 1800s. Ogre (2008) Director: Steven R. Monroe Writers: Chuck Reeves Stars: John Schneider, Ryan Kennedy, Katharine Isabelle Genre: Fantasy, Horror, Sci-Fi Country: Canada, United States Language: English Release Date: March 8, 2008 (United States) Filming Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Reviews: I LOVE this movie and the first time I watched it I thought I’d hate it cause it didn’t look that good. And yeah the ogre looks really bad and it’s obviously a low budget movie but it’s just a lot of fun!! The characters are all great and the actors playing the town’s people from the 1800’s do a good job looking and sounding like they’re from another time. But this movie has a lot of Canadian charm to it and I love that about it. It’s got magic, an ogre, and a great Canadian cast, what more could you want.
