Greatest Fights In The Animal Kingdom: Ultimate Edition | FULL EPISODE | Wildlife Documentary follows the lion, the Nile crocodile, the cheetah, the spotted hyena and the African wild dog across the plains that link the Maasai Mara to the Serengeti, then crosses six hundred miles of ocean to the Galápagos Islands, where the prey has never learned to fear. On both sides of the Earth, strength has never once bought a meal. Every hunt is decided by the question the hunter chooses to ask. Through cinematic footage and educational storytelling, this documentary follows nine hunts and the question behind each one. A hungry pride meets a ground pangolin that folds into a ball of keratin armor no tooth can open. A lone spotted hyena wades into Lake Bogoria, where more than a million lesser flamingos were counted on a single morning in 2019, and asks only which one of a million is slow. At the Mara River, Nile crocodiles averaging sixteen feet wait nine months for 1.2 million wildebeest, yet the river itself drowns more than twelve hundred tons of them each year. A mother cheetah loses a Thomson's gazelle to a single sharp turn, the way tracking collars in Botswana showed real hunts run at thirty three miles an hour and are won by braking, not speed. What follows is the part most wildlife documentaries never show. African wild dogs vote by sneezing before a hunt and wear a wildebeest down over two miles, a leopard that succeeds only five times in a hundred takes a hare without letting it run a single step, and on a Galápagos beach a hatchling marine iguana sprints through dozens of racer snakes to reach the rock. In a bay walled by lava, Galápagos sea lions herd a whole school of fish onto the sand in twenty eight seconds while pelicans stand ready to scoop. The hunter that wins is the one that asks at the right place, the right time, the right bay. The hunter that loses is asking a question its prey answered millions of years ago. 0:00 Every Life Has One Answer: Fight Back 0:57 The King of the Grassland Asks First 3:03 Lions vs Pangolin 5:50 Hyena at the Pink Lake: A Million Flamingos 8:27 Hyena vs Flamingos: One of a Million 11:30 The Mara River: 1.2 Million Wildebeest 15:34 Crocodile Strikes the Crossing 16:18 The River Takes More Than the Crocodile 18:39 The Open Savanna: Cheetah Country 20:05 Cheetah vs Thomson's Gazelle 22:15 Why the Fastest Hunter Loses 22:51 African Wild Dogs: Stamina and Numbers 24:40 Wild Dogs Vote by Sneezing 28:41 After Dark: The Leopard's Five Percent 30:47 Leopard vs Hare 37:48 Galápagos: Where Prey Never Learned Fear 41:31 Racer Snakes vs Marine Iguana Hatchling 45:21 Galápagos Sea Lions and the Cold Current 48:12 Sea Lions and Pelicans Trap the Fish 52:18 The Giant Tortoise Needs Only Time 54:48 Ngorongoro: A Paradise With No Gate 57:12 Hyena vs Wildebeest Mother and Calf 59:15 How the Crater Wall Was Built 1:01:35 A Kingdom That Never Migrates 1:03:20 The Hyena Clans: 30 Years of Records 1:04:48 Lions vs Hyenas at the Carcass 1:07:42 Old Age Has Nowhere to Hide 1:08:30 Bull Elephants and Dagga Boys 1:11:23 Hyenas vs Zebra: The Daily Roll Call 1:17:00 Six Sets of Teeth: The Elephant Clock 1:20:24 Old Lions vs Old Buffalo: The Final 1:22:24 A Young Pride Takes the Prize 1:24:39 The Plague of 1962 and the Founders 1:28:12 Antarctica: A Wall of Ice 1:30:28 Emperor Penguins vs Leopard Seal 1:34:12 115 Days of Fasting 1:38:05 Born on the Feet of a Father 1:40:47 Giant Petrel vs the Penguin Creche 1:45:46 The 50 Foot Cliff at Atka Bay 1:49:53 Halley Bay: The Door Slams Shut 1:53:50 Lions vs Buffalo on the Savanna 2:02:00 Hyenas vs Lions: Rivals of the Savanna 2:10:00 Crocodile Ambush at the Waterhole 2:18:00 Cheetah Coalition Hunt 2:26:00 Elephants Rule the River 2:34:00 Leopard in the Thicket 2:42:00 Lion Pride Defends the Territory 2:50:00 Wild Dogs Hunt the Impala 2:58:00 Buffalo Herd Fights Back 3:06:00 Hyena Clan at the Carcass 3:14:00 Zebra Migration and the Lions 3:22:00 Lion Cubs Learn to Hunt 3:30:00 The Dry Season Ends 3:38:00 Vultures Over the Plains 3:46:00 Rains Return to the Savanna 3:52:00 The Pride Moves On Epic Moments in This Documentary: A pride of lions rolling a twenty five pound pangolin that refuses to open A spotted hyena charging through a million lesser flamingos at Lake Bogoria A sixteen foot Nile crocodile erupting from the Mara River beside the crossing A mother cheetah skidding past the turn of a Thomson's gazelle at full speed A wild dog pack running a wildebeest down over two miles of open plain A leopard closing fourteen feet of darkness on a hare without a sound Dozens of Galápagos racer snakes surging after a four inch marine iguana hatchling Galápagos sea lions driving a wave of fish onto the sand in front of waiting pelicans
