Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry is a 1978 television movie starring Morgan Freeman. This movie is the shortened version that was released from the original 3 part drama mini series back in 1978 telling the story of a black girl and her family who try to hold onto their land during the Depression. It is based upon the 1977 Newbery Medal awarded novel by Mildred D. Taylor. The novel is a part of her Logan family series. Plot: The pain of racial prejudice is experienced by members of a black family in Depression-era Mississippi. Storyline: With the land to hold them together, nothing can tear the Logans apart. Why is the land so important to Cassie's family? It takes the events of one turbulent year- the year of the night riders and the burnings, the year a white girl humiliates Cassie in public simply because she is black- to show Cassie that having a place of their own is the Logan family's lifeblood. It is the land that gives the Logans their courage and pride- no matter how others may degrade them, the Logans possess something no one can take away. We do not own the rights to any of this film. This film is being used for historical and educational purposes only. No copyright infringement intended. Black Excellence:

Welcome to the Men's Group - A men's support group descends into chaos when longstanding conflicts threaten the trust among the men. Welcome to the Men's Group (2016) Director: Joseph Culp Writers: Scott Ben-Yashar, Joseph Culp Stars: Phil Abrams, Vera Abrams, Mackenzie Astin Genre: Comedy, Drama Country: United States Language: English Release Date: June 18, 2016 (France) Filming Location: Los Angeles, California, USA Synopsis: This film takes us inside the intimate dynamic of an all-male support group when they gather one morning for a ritual breakfast and their unique form of male bonding. Reviews: "We rented this tonight thinking it was a straightforward comedy, but it's so much more than that. Huge props to the makers for exploring a side of maleness that we don't often see in film. When it started, I was sure it was a remake of a European film; we both agreed it "just wasn't" American. And it's not, at least it's not anything like any American film we've seen before. A bunch a men meet once a month to talk. "Check in," they call it. Twenty minutes in, I remarked "what a bunch of women." An hour in I realized that my statement was the definition of toxic masculinity! They start with superficial stuff, nothing special. But as the day wears on weaknesses are exposed and buried feelings come to the surface. We paused it several times to talk about what was going on, and how we saw it from our own gender perspective. It was a great conversation movie, and I think we learned a lot (at least about each other's experiences). Eye opening, sometimes seriously laugh out loud funny, sad, and brilliant. I hope more US filmmakers will take note and give us more films like this. As a woman, I found it fascinating, and it really really reminded me why I love men." - written by "horrorismyhome" on IMDb.com Also Known As (AKA): (original title) Welcome to the Men's Group Men's Group(Working Title) Australia Welcome to the Men's Group Canada Welcome to the Men's Group(English) France Welcome to the Men's Group United Kingdom Welcome to the Men's Group United States Welcome to the Men's Group ···················································································· SUPPORT US! ✘ Membership - FOLLOW US! ✘ X / ✘ TikTok / MORE MOVIES! ► Star Casts: ► Action: ► Drama: ► Thriller: ► All Playlists: ···················································································· COPYRIGHT: All of the films published by us are legally licensed. Lyrics: [Verse 1] And all I am is a man I want the world in my hands I hate the beach but I stand In California with my toes in the sand Use the sleeves of my sweater Let's have an adventure Head in the clouds but my gravity's centered Touch my neck and I'll touch yours You in those little high waisted shorts, oh [Pre-Chorus] She knows what I think about And what I think about One love, two mouths One love, one house No shirt, no blouse Just us, you find out Nothing that I wouldn't wanna tell you about, no [Chorus] 'Cause it's too cold for you here And now, so let me hold Both your hands in the holes of my sweater [Verse 2] And if I may just take your breath away I don't mind if there's not much to say Sometimes the silence guides a mind To move to a place so far away The goosebumps start to raise The minute that my left hand meets your waist And then I watch your face Put my finger on your tongue 'Cause you love the taste, yeah These hearts adore Everyone the other beats hardest for Inside this place is warm Outside it starts to pour [Pre-Chorus] Comin' down One love, two mouths One love, one house No shirt, no blouse Just us, you find out Nothing that I wouldn't wanna tell you about No, no, no [Chorus] 'Cause it's too cold for you here And now, so let me hold Both your hands in the holes of my sweater 'Cause it's too cold for you here And now, so let me hold Both your hands in the holes of my sweater, woah [Bridge] Woah, woah, woah Woah, woah, woah, woah Woah, woah Woah, woah, woah, woah Woah, woah [Chorus] 'Cause it's too cold for you here And now, so let me hold Both your hands in the holes of my sweater 'Cause it's too cold for you here Now, let me hold Both your hands in the holes of my sweater [Outro] And it's too cold, it's too cold The holes of my sweater
