A lion hunting alone in Etosha succeeds only 2.3 percent of the time against 27 percent for a pride, a tiger in Kanha needs ten to twenty ambushes for one meal, and the predators that escape the law are those that find prey gathered in a crowd: rodents in the grass, seals on the beach, termites in the mound. Lions and tigers are both listed as threatened, and the prey base of the northern Namib has fallen by up to 60 percent in a decade. This documentary contains raw, unfiltered footage of nature at its most intense. Viewer discretion is advised. All footage is captured in the wild with no interference to natural animal behavior.
